Thank you for placing an order with Crystal Direct. It is very important to us that from the moment you place your order for windows, doors and conservatories from Crystal Direct, to the day that we deliver them to you, that everything runs like clockwork.
All of our products are made for you, made exactly to your specification and as a result we are extremely careful when handling your products at every step of the delivery process and our goal is to ensure that you are a satisfied customer on delivery day.
Our deliveries take place Monday to Friday from 07.00am.
Estimated delivery date
Your estimated delivery date will be provided by your sales order processor and will depend on your chosen made to measure product. For example if you have ordered standard white products then we will be able to offer you a shorter delivery date than if you have ordered a coloured product due to the system house manufacturing lead times.
Crystal Direct has its own fleet of 40 vehicles and they are fitted with hi-tech tracking devices so you will always know where your products are and when you can expect to receive them. Our transport department will be in touch with you the day before your delivery is due with your estimated delivery time. Should you require a more accurate time on the day of delivery, just call our transport department and they will be able to assist you.
It is important that when the delivery vehicle is unloaded you check to make sure all of the correct items have arrived. If anything is missing or damaged it is important you note this on your delivery note when you hand it back to the delivery driver. Alternatively, we give you 48 hours from the date of delivery to check all your products and during this time you can advise us of any damaged or missing parts. After this time period has expired we cannot be held responsible for product damage or missing items so it is important that you check your entire order as replacements will be chargeable.
We provide single man multi-drop deliveries and therefore we must ensure that our unloading times are kept to a minimum as our delivery drivers have busy schedules to maintain. It is not the responsibility of our driver to unload your products. Please be advised that failure to provide sufficient manpower, or not being present to accept the delivery, will result in a re-delivery charge. If you are unable to unload your products, then our driver may have to return them to the factory.
Our products can be heavy or awkward to handle and you must make arrangements for mechanical handling equipment (if necessary) or extra labour to be available to assist you. Every delivery address must have an unloading bay or parking space and we cannot unload if there are parking restrictions. Please can you be ready to take delivery, and have an area cleared ready for the products.
Please note that we cannot deliver goods without a signed ‘Proof of Delivery (POD)’. If you are unable to sign for your goods, please ensure you advise the office prior to delivery for special arrangements to be made.
